Capri Cellars is delighted to present the Behind the Barrel event, where you not only get to sample and experience the latest vintages from special wineries in the Pacific Northwest, but also get a peek behind the barrel of the artistry that shapes every vintage of a particular winery. Each event held at Capri Cellars offers an intimate look at a winemaker’s philosophy, passion, and personality via an interactive Q&A—revealing how tradition, innovation, and terroir come together to create wines with true character and soul. Also enjoy complimentary charcuterie and hummus boards, plus a fun opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow wine lovers and the winemaker.

Get your tickets to sip and learn about Passing Times award winning wines & their personal journeys & philosophies about wine and winemaking on Wednesday, September 10, 6:00 – 8:00 PM.

Damon Huard, co‑owner of Passing Time Winery, brings his Northwest roots and NFL‑honed discipline to crafting-focused, vineyard‑driven Washington Cabernet. Since the inaugural 2012 vintage, he has helped shape Passing Time’s acclaimed wines across Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, and Walla Walla.

Chris Peterson, co‑founder and winemaker at Avennia, is known for crafting elegant, site‑driven Washington wines shaped by Old World restraint and precision. He has served as winemaker for Passing Time since 2012, where his artistry and vineyard‑first approach help define the winery’s acclaimed Cabernet program across Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, and Walla Walla.
